Change your plan
Upgrades apply straight away and downgrades apply at the next billing date; both start from the Plan tab in Billing & Plan.
Last updated- Open Settings, then Billing & Plan, on the Plan tab.
- Choose a Billing period.
- Choose Switch to this plan on the plan you want.
- For a downgrade, the page shows Plan change scheduled with the date it takes effect.
Upgrade or downgrade
An upgrade applies at once. A downgrade is scheduled for the next billing date, and the page says it in full: the workspace switches to the new plan on that date and keeps its current plan until then. Choosing another plan before the date replaces the scheduled change. The change is sent to the payment provider and the page updates when the provider confirms it.
What a downgrade does to channels
If your new plan allows fewer channels, the newest ones are switched off, and their health reads Disabled with "This channel is over your plan's limit and was switched off." Nothing is deleted, and posts scheduled to them are held rather than lost. The page lists them under Channels your plan no longer covers, where each waiting post has Reschedule and Cancel post. Upgrading switches the channels back on.
The pricing page lists channels and seats for each plan. Compare them with what you have connected first, so the channels that switch off are ones you expected.
If it did not work
The plan grid can show a reason instead of buttons. "This subscription is scheduled to end, so its plan cannot be changed. Reactivate it first, then change the plan." means you cancelled; see Cancel your subscription. "This subscription cannot change plan until its last payment settles" means a payment failed; see A payment failed. If the previous subscription has ended, choose a plan to start a new one. If the page is not reflecting your change yet, wait a moment for the provider's confirmation.
