Trial and billing
6 questions
How does the trial work?
You start a 7-day trial on a paid plan and add a card at the start. Pick the plan that fits and change it later.
Is anything charged during the trial?
No. Nothing is charged during the 7-day trial and you can cancel before it ends. The card you add at the start is charged when the trial converts to the plan you chose.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. Upgrades apply straight away and downgrades apply at the next billing date.
Who handles payment?
Our payment provider handles checkout and tax as the merchant of record.
What happens if a payment fails?
Publishing keeps working for 7 days while you update the payment method. After that a post that comes due fails with a plain reason until the subscription is active again.
Is anything deleted when I cancel?
No. Cancelling ends the subscription and nothing is deleted, but without a plan the workspace cannot publish.
Platforms
4 questions
Which platforms can I use today?
Every platform on the platforms page except Reddit. Reddit is coming soon and cannot be connected yet.
Does every plan include every platform?
Yes. Plans differ by channels, seats, customers and approval.
Why do Bluesky, Telegram and Nostr ask for a password, token or key?
They have no sign in screen for an app like ours, so you bring a credential you create yourself: an app password, a bot token or a private key. Other platforms send you to their own consent screen.
How do I know a post fits a platform?
The composer checks the post against each channel while you write, and the server checks again before the post is saved. A post known to break a channel’s rules is never queued.
Reliability
5 questions
What happens if a post fails?
The post shows a failed state with a plain reason and, where it helps, a way to retry or reconnect. It is never left looking published.
When does a post show as Posted?
Only after the platform confirms it. Until then it shows as publishing, and a failure shows its reason.
How do you avoid posting twice?
Each post gets a delivery key before the platform is called and keeps it across retries. Where a platform honours a key it is sent; where it does not, NioConnect reads the account back before it posts again.
What if something restarts while a post is publishing?
The post record in the database is the truth, and a reconciler about every minute picks up posts that are queued or stuck publishing and drives them again.
Can I stop all publishing at once?
Yes. The emergency stop halts publishing for the workspace. Posts whose time passed during the stop are held, not published late.
Teams and approvals
5 questions
Do I need a team to use it?
No. Teams and approvals are off by default for solo users and become useful as you add people, on plans that include them.
What are the roles?
Owner, Admin and Contributor. There is exactly one Owner, people are invited as Admin or Contributor, and ownership moves only through a transfer.
Which plans include the approval workflow?
Approval is a plan feature: Starter do not carry it, and it is included from Creator up. It is off until you turn it on.
Who can approve a post?
Owners and Admins review the queue. A rejected post goes back to Draft with a note, and an approved one is released at its time.
Do posts to a Discord server need approval?
By default, yes, on every plan, because a post there reaches a community. You can override it for a target with an explicit acknowledgment.
AI and MCP
5 questions
Can my AI assistant post for me?
It can draft and schedule through MCP or an API key. Its posts follow the same validation and approval rules as everyone else.
Which AI clients work?
Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and claude.ai are set up from the Developers page. ChatGPT connects the same way but has not been proven end to end.
Can an AI client publish a post right now?
No. The one tool that writes saves a draft by default, or schedules for a time you ask for. A time that has already passed is refused.
Is there an SDK or CLI?
Not today. Connect through MCP or an API key.
How do I disconnect an AI client?
Revoke the connection or the key on the Developers page. Access ends at once.
Security
3 questions
Is my account access safe?
Credentials are sealed in a per organization vault and are never returned or logged. See the security page for the full picture.
Can anyone read the credentials I saved?
A saved credential is never shown again, to you, your teammates or anyone supporting you. It is encrypted under a key that belongs to your workspace, never returned by an API and never written to a log.
Is my sign in the same thing as a channel credential?
No. Your NioConnect sign in and your channel credentials are separate systems, and they are never mixed.
