Reschedule a week in one go
Dragging a post on the calendar moves it to another day and keeps its time of day. To change the time itself, open the post. Either way the checks run again straight away.

Before you start
The calendar has four views: Day, Week, Month and List. Week is the one for this job, but Month is better for moving something across a longer gap. You can filter by channel or by customer so you only see the posts you mean to move.
Rescheduling on the calendar is optimistic: the chip moves at once and settles when the server answers. Publishing is never optimistic. A post shows as published only after the platform has confirmed it.
Move the posts
Work through the week one post at a time.
- Open the calendar in Week view and filter to the channel or customer you are changing.
- Drag a post to the day you want. It keeps its time of day, measured in the zone it was written for.
- Check that its chip still reads as scheduled.
- To change the time as well, open the post and use its reschedule control, then save.
- Repeat for the other posts.
A chip says in its label when it can be moved. If dragging is awkward, open the post and change the date there instead.
What you should see
Nothing else about the post changes: its channels, text, media and tags stay as they were. Only its publish time moves, and the job that will publish it is re-armed for the new moment, so the old time no longer applies.
The chip lands in its new cell and keeps a scheduled status. If the zone you use for the grid differs from the zone a post was written in, the arithmetic follows the post’s own zone, so a 9 o’clock post is still a 9 o’clock post where it was meant to be.
If something goes wrong
| What happens | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The chip snaps back and says that time has passed | The new slot is in the past | Pick a future slot, or open the post to publish it now |
| A refusal names a time zone | That clock time does not exist there, for example in the hour skipped when clocks go forward | Open the post and choose the next valid time it names |
| The move works and a note appears afterwards | That clock time happens twice when clocks go back, and the first one was taken | Open the post if you wanted the second one |
| A published post offers a choice | A post that already went out cannot be un-published | Choose to correct the record, or to publish it again as a new post |
A post whose change has not been answered yet cannot be dragged again until it has, so two quick drags cannot cross over.
Good habits
Move the day first, then fix times in one pass. Dragging many posts in a row is quick, but a calendar crowded with chips is easy to misread, so filter to one channel or one customer at a time and clear the filter afterwards to see the whole week together. Check the List view when you want every post in order with its time written out, which makes a clash between two posts on the same hour easy to spot. If you keep a regular rhythm, set your posting times once and let the composer suggest free slots. For the thinking behind a trustworthy calendar, see a calendar that shows what really happened.
Check your result
- Scan the week for posts that still sit on the wrong day.
- Confirm each moved chip still reads as scheduled.
- Open one post and verify its time of day.
- Look for any post waiting on approval after the move.
